We’ve got students unlocking their creativity and building major real-world skills this week:

💚Drama & Performing Arts: Diving deep into character sketches and bringing hilarious, original skits to life. 🎬🎙️🎤

💚Building & Tinkering: Designing and launching custom rubber band cars, plus engineering desk-to-desk bridges built for maximum structural integrity! They are so strong! 🌉 🏋️🦸

The best part?💫 Seeing our students pair up, test their creations, and cheer each other on. The energy is unmatched! 💥👏🎊😁

What tops the smell of a fresh made breakfast - especially when made entirely from scratch!? 👐🧑‍🍳Pancakes, bacon, biscuits, fresh bread, and eggs to order?! 🤤 The Springstone Community High Culinary Arts crew didn’t just make breakfast; they ran a whole five-star diner this morning. 🍽️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

While cooking up this feast, they were leveling up their real-world life skills:

Happy Bastille Day! 🇫🇷✨ (And our hearts go out to France and their national football team tonight ⚽♥️🥉)

Today, our Culinary Art students celebrated France’s national day by tackling one of the most iconic—and technically challenging—French pastries: the Napoleon (Mille-feuille)! 🍰👇

Behind those beautiful, delicate layers is a lot of hard work, precision, and collaboration. During this bake, our students mastered: 🥐 Pastry Lamination: Getting those perfect, flaky, buttery layers of puff pastry. 🥄 The Perfect Crème Pâtissière: Whisking up a velvety, rich pastry cream. NO ONE BURNT ANY! 🧑‍🍳👌📐 Precision & Assembly: Slicing and layering with steady hands so it stands tall. With a sprinkle of powdered sugar and fruit on top!

But the most important ingredient in the kitchen today? Teamwork. They worked in pairs - but also shared the space well! 🤝 From coordinating oven times to carefully assembling the layers without crushing them, our students learned how to communicate, delegate, and support each other under pressure.

Exploration, engineering, and expression were all part of first Summer Session at Springstone this first week!🧭🤖🎭

Students practiced orienteering with a map and compass, worked with peers to build fighter robots, and collaborated with classmates to create and perform skits.
